Spring League is designed to keep athletes active and progressing in the off-season. Players get consistent opportunities to play, learn, and build confidence in a team setting. The goal is improvement, effort, and enjoyment. Not just the scoreboard.

What players build in Spring League
Spring is where skills start to “stick” because athletes get game reps every week. Players develop:
- Ball handling & passing under pressure
- Shooting confidence & finishing
- Spacing, cutting, and movement without the ball
- Basic team defence & transition habits
- Decision-making (when to pass, drive, shoot)
- Communication, effort, and composure
Key Dates & Schedule
Spring League runs April – June at the Meridian Community Centre (Pelham).
- Boys (Grades 3 - 8): Tuesdays - April 21 to June 2
- Girls (Grades 3 - 8): Wednesdays - April 22 to June 3
- Session Times: TBD (final times confirmed once registration is complete)
- Location: Meridian Community Centre, Pelham
Note: Divisions and timing may adjust based on registration numbers.

The Spring League is a fun and interactive off-season program open to players of all skill levels. Skill development, concepts and game play will be taught but the primary focus will be competition such as 3 on 3 and 5 on 5.

It’s structured and competitive in a healthy way. Focused on development, teamwork, and learning through play.
Teams are typically grouped by grade and balanced as best as possible based on registration numbers. Teams are often formed on a nightly basis due to changing game formats (example: 3 on 3 or 5 on 5).
Spring League is designed to be manageable for families and multi-sport athletes. Once a week for 1 hour per week. Exact time will be communicated prior to the start of Spring League.
We understand spring schedules can be busy. Consistency helps development, but occasional absences happen. Families should communicate with their coach/organizer when possible.
