For premier female basketball players from Niagara seeking a competitive pathway through Niagara JUEL, JUEL Prep & JUEL Academy teams. built for athletes who want high-level coaching, league play, and progression to the next level.
What is JUEL?
JUEL (Junior Elite) is an Ontario girls league that provides opportunities for female athletes to play their way to the post secondary level. The league includes the JUEL Academy (typically grades 7-8), JUEL Prep (typically grades 9-10) and JUEL (typically grades 11-12), with games scheduled on weekends during the season.
This is a highly competitive environment designed for focused development & strong commitment.

The JUEL pathway
Through the Pelham Panthers Basketball Association, grade 7 -12 girls from across the Niagara Region are selected to compete in the Niagara wide JUEL Academy, JUEL Prep and JUEL teams.

Fees & what’s included
2026 - 2027 season
Fees vary by season and team. Families should expect costs related to coaching, gym time, league participation, uniforms, and travel. Weekend competition can require travel across Ontario depending on the schedule.
